Inquiry Page and Sizes…

Monday, December 10th, 2007

Hello again!

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. I want to say a very very warm THANK YOU to all of those who made purchases through our online shop this weekend. I’m particulary impressed with the international response we are getting! I know international shipping costs can be a pain and I’m working on a way to help ease the cost… So look out for special coupon codes discounting shipping rates (domestic shipping including)!!

Just a reminder to all who send inquires to us through out Contact Page… Please be sure to put your FULL email address in. Recently, I have received questions that I can not send responses back to. :-( So, if anyone has sent a question and has not got a reply from me- go ahead and send another inquiry using your entire email address in the box. Thanks!

I want to explain a little more about our sizes. I touched on this in our FAQ’s section of the site but I feel I need to elaborate more. Im sure you notice our clothing is “FREE SIZE”.  Some items even run a bit on the small side especially Liz Lisa.  I do have items that are multiple sizes but do to a tech issue that is still being worked out- it has taken some time to get those items up. If youre in the OC area -youre welcome to come to our shop and purchase these items- If not, we will get those items up as soon as we possibly can. We’re currently working with sunshop to fix our options/inventory control. Since we are brand new… (online atleast) we are still working out some kinks. In time… it will be perfect… eventually!

As far as certain Japanese brands that are imported from Japan and only Japan- they are Free Size. If you were to go to Japan… walk into a Liz Lisa or Cecil Mcbee shop- you would notice their too- its one size. Its just how the Japanese young woman’s fashion market is. They run small because they are specifically designed for a smaller body-type. A lot of the clothing DOES stretch and contains elastic to fit… A lot of the measurements are measurements before stretching… The tops especially will fit a variety of sizes… the babydoll dresses definately fit many because its so loose and flowy. But some of the bottoms for Liz Lisa run small from size 0-4 even up to 6. Im working on getting in more cuuuute items that will fit a wider range of girls. Its difficult with Japanese fashion cause the manufacturers just dont make bigger sizes! I sincerely apologize to anyone that has wanted to order but we do not have their size available at this time. :-( But I WILL promise you this…

Get ready, girls… Im about to make another promise to myself (and to you!). My dream is to have a Jilliana TOKYO brand! Yep! And guess what? It’ll be just as cute as all the Japanese kawaii fashions in Tokyo (even cuter!) and it will be available in ALL sizes for ALL girls worldwide. So, if youre reading this- you’re the first to know out there. It will happen. I have recently befriended someone that I now consider a great friend. She made clothes for some of the most famous young woman’s boutiques in Harajuku. So maybe… just maybe… in the near future- you will see our brand.

Take Care…

    I know it’s been awhile!

This week I went to Florida to see my family and take care of some important family business. (Sounds like the mafia but nothing quite that exciting.) But Im in Cali again! Yay!! Back to Laguna Beach, my shop, Dew, and Mr. Tako-Chan. (I promised a photo and I WILL have one up this weekend of him!) Seeing family again is refreshing- especially when its been a long time and youre all the way across the country. But next week my mama-in-law will be here all the way from Japan!!! Yay!!!

So what’s been going on? Im on EBAY. Yep, in an effort to drive more traffic to the site I have listed *select* merchandise on Ebay. Look me up under username “justcallmedolly” to get special discounted merchandise at a special Ebay price! Shipping is also discounted for Ebay winners!!

Once a week I have decided to spotlight one item. This week I choose a Liz Lisa item!

This dress is unbelievably SOFT! It has the cutest white bow in the front as well. You can find it under “Liz Lisa” in the online shop.

Take Care everyone and Happy SHOPPING!
